The big brother of the Midas family, the BTR G2 4.5-27x50 takes longer ranges into consideration. Whether you are game hunting at longer ranges or attending a tactical sniper competition, this is the scope for you. The magnification range is great, usable at most ranges and powerful enough for great distances. The SFP reticle is simple not to obstruct the target at large magnification and effective with the subtensions matched at the ideal 15x magnification. Turrets are exposed for the moments when speed is vital and the AHMR reticle will allow precise shot placement even without dialing.
The scope itself is durable, with a single piece tube that will withstand anything, and high quality lenses that are large enough to offer light at even the worst conditions, and coated with the XPL for heavy-duty protection. At this price range, it doesn’t really get any better than this!
The scope features exposed direct dial turrets, with an additional side turret for parallax adjustment – it can be set from 27 meters to infinity. The click value of the turrets is quite fine, at 0.25 MOA per click, while the maximum travel is 60 MOA for both windage and elevation.
The reticle used with this scope, the simple yet detailed AHMR, is set at the SFP to keep an ideally sized cross-hairs at all times, while the subtensions are true at the 15x magnification. The central cross-hairs of the reticle are also illuminated. The scope is available in both MOA and Mil versions.
The Midas BTR G2 scopes have heat treated single-piece tubes, machined out of aircraft grade aluminum for extreme hardness and resistance. It is protected with a matte, anti-glare finish for protection from scratches and the elements.
The lenses are made of HD glass for high contrast and a sharp image, multi-coated for a higher light transmission and removal of light reflection. The lenses are also coated with the advanced XPL coating to protect the lenses from scratches, dirt and stains. The scopes are both water and fog proof, as well as highly resilient against recoil and shock, making them perfect for use with any gun caliber. The interior is also Argon purged to prevent any internal fogging.
The scopes feature large lenses and advanced coatings to let in as much light as possible and offer the best brightness, and with it, the sharpest image even at the highest magnifications.
Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Midas BTR G2 4.5-27x50 SFP has a tube diameter of 30 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
