A top of the line scope from the Argos family. This is a dedicated hunting scope for short to medium distances, useful for both bush stalking or hunting any type of game at a longer distance. This scope is rugged, durable and very precise. It comes with a rather simple reticle to serve the purpose and not to obscure the target, and it is set at SFP to maintain an ideal size at all times. This scope will serve its purpose well in all conditions and offer incredible optical properties at all times.
As appropriate for such high tier long range scope, the turrets are covered for protection and to prevent any undesired dialing. The parallax in this scope is fixed.
The scope is available with either the simple Center-X crosshairs reticle or the BDC 600 reticle which has the Bullet drop compensation system integrated in the cross-hairs. The BDC system is valid at 10x magnification.
The adjustment graduation is ¼ MOA per click and the maximum adjustment is 60 MOA for both elevation and windage.
Argos scopes all have high quality and extremely resistant single-piece tubes hammer forged out of aircraft grade aluminum. They are finished with a matte, anti-glare finish for protection from scratches and the elements.
The large lenses will always provide enough brightness, while several layers of advanced coating will enable even more light to pass through and prevent and light reflection at the same time. The lenses are also coated with the protective XPL coating on the other sides to protect from stains and scratches. The scopes are both water and fog proof, as well as highly resilient against recoil and shock, making them perfect for use with any gun caliber. The interior is Argon purged to prevent any internal fogging.
Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Argos 2-10x40 has a tube diameter of 25.4 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
