With a more powerful 10x magnification and a narrower field of view, this Nature DX is better suited to wide open spaces and for gaining a more detailed image of objects at further distances than the 8x25 Nature DX. These main attributes along with their minimal dimensions make these a great choice as a travel binocular especially on adventures like a wildlife safari where you can expect to be viewing larger animals on the plains of Africa.
The compact and lightweight body is especially easy to pack in with your luggage as well as to carry about, especially if you also have other gear like a camera with you as well. However, this combination of the small size and a higher power do come at a cost and that is their low light performance is reduced. If this is a concern and you think you will often be using your binoculars at sunset, or before sunrise, perhaps consider the mid-sized 10x32 Nature DX instead.
Note: For normal use, the 14mm of eye relief is perfectly sufficient. However, for eyeglass wearers, this may not be ideal.
The diopter adjustment dial on the right eyepiece ensures that you are able to adjust them to match your particular eyesight and then with the centrally located focus wheel you can achieve a pin-sharp image of anything from 2 meters all the way to infinity.
Nature DX are entry-level binoculars made by Celestron. The compact design definitely makes them a real pleasure to use when on adventure. Nature DX binoculars are also fully protected, so you can take them with you even when the weather is bad. Tight seals make them impervious to water and dust and the construction in also filled with nitrogen gas, to prevent internal condensation when temperature changes occur. All models in the series are also tripod adaptable, very convenient part of equipment, especially for models with higher magnifications.
They offer generous field of view which allows you to quickly track down the animals that are fast moving and also helps you to hold the aim on them for longer time. The close focusing distance isn’t bad either and allows you to see finest details even up close, thus providing amazing micro observations of insects or butterflies. For focusing, the Nature DX binocular offer grippy central focusing knob for smooth and quick adjustment, with the help of the right-eye diopter that is also incredibly grippy and helps to eliminate differences between both eyes. Nature DX binoculars are also equipped with a twist-up eyecups, offering generous eye-relief without vignetting, that can be completely twisted down for perfect adjustment for eyeglasses wearers.
Nature DX binoculars come with a case for storage that keeps them safe against impacts. They are also equipped with neck strap for carrying binoculars around the neck, objective lens and eyecup lens covers.

Celestron gives Limited Lifetime Warranty for Nature DX Binoculars. The company repairs or replaces damaged products, without charge. However, it doesn’t include No Fault Policy – doesn’t cover damages due to mishandling, misuse, neglect or accidental damage. Product exteriors - armoring and lenses are fully covered for 5 years against defects, not scratches or blemishes. Accessories such as lens covers, neckstraps and cases are fully covered for 2 years. Loss of the product or accessories is not covered. Collimation and optical alignment issues must be claimed within 30 days of purchase. You can claim the warranty with receipt as a proof of purchase.
