Athlon Talos BTR 1-4x24 SFP

A basic, affordable but reliable short range scope. Even with the low price it offers some impressive features, especially the rather advanced and very effective AHSR14 reticle, that comes illuminated so it can be used even at low light conditions. This scope is rugged, resistant and reliable enough to be used in the bush while hunting or at dynamic shooting competitions with no worries at all.

The wide field of view and the true 1x magnification will work perfectly in any close quarters shooting situations, and the 4x magnification combined with fast dialing turrets and the perfect reticle will surely help you out when your target, or game, is a bit further away.

Configuration Options

As with most CQB, wide-angle scopes, the turrets are exposed for fast dialing and corrections. The parallax is fixed at 91 meters.

This scope only comes in the MIL version with the AHSR14 illuminated reticle, set at SFP. The adjustment graduation is 0.2 MIL per click, with the maximum adjustment for elevation and windage of 40 MIL for both.

Advanced Features

Talos scopes are made with the high quality and extremely resistant single-piece tubes hammer forged out of aircraft grade aluminum. The black finish of the tubes will prevent and glare as well as protect from both wear and tear as well as from the elements.

The lenses are made out of high quality glass and will ensure a sharp and crisp image at all times, as well as let in enough light to enable shooting in most conditions. These scopes are made for on field use and are made very rugged as well as highly resistant to shock and the kick of even the largest calibers. They are also well sealed and are both water and fog proof, and the interior is Nitrogen purged to prevent any internal fogging.

Mounting Of The Scope

Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Talos BTR 1-4x24 SFP has a tube diameter of 30 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
