Athlon Argos BTR G2 8-34x56 FFP

A great scope for all purposes, mostly designed for precision longe range shooting. This tactical riflescope was made for competition shooting but can also be used for hunting. The magnification range is quite large and the maximum magnification of 34x is simply huge. This powerful scope features an advanced reticle set at FFP making it a great accessory at all magnifications and ranges. The forgiving eye-box, large field of view and a 56mm exit lens that makes the image bright and clear, make this scope a powerful tool for any long-range shots.

Configuration Options

Exposed turrets on this scope allow for quick access and adjustments, and the extra side turret enables the user to adjust the parallax from 13.7 meters to infinity. The scope and subsequent reticle are available in either MOA or MIL versions, with the click value being 0.25 MOA or 0.1 Mil and the total travel of 45 MOA or 13 MIL respectively, for both elevation and windage.

This first focal plane reticle scope comes with the ATMR MOA or APMR MIL illuminated reticle, both versions set at the FFP. These are reticles made for difficult long range shots with their subtensions always staying matched.

Advanced Features

The Athlon Optics Argos BTR scopes have heat treated single-piece tubes, machined out of 6061T6 aircraft grade aluminum for extreme hardness and resistance. The finish is black to both protect the scope from the elements and to prevent light reflection.

The lenses are made out of high-quality glass and fully multi-coated for both protection and a clear image. The coating will also help provide enough light in combination with the rather large lenses of this series. The reticle itself is etched on the glass for better support and greater recoil resistance.

The scopes are both water and fog proof. They are also very rugged, durable and resistant to shock and recoil of any caliber thanks to the aircraft-grade aluminum tube. The interior of Argos BTR 8-34 is Argon purged to prevent any internal fogging.

The maximal field of view of this Argos BTR riflescope is around 4 meters at 100 yards.

Mounting Of The Scope

Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Argos BTR 8-34x56 FFP has a tube diameter of 30 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
