Athlon Argos 4-20x50 SFP

The magnification range and accompanying reticle selection on this scope make it a great medium to long range tool suitable for both sport shooting and most hunting needs, except for bush hunting – but other than close ranges, this scope will make easy meal of any target even at tricky circumstances. There are several advanced features that will help the shooter out in such situations – the lens is large and multi coated with anti-reflective coatings, making this scope bright even at dusk or in bad weather. The eye-piece enables easy focus, range modification and has great eye-relief so getting and keeping on target will be easy, and the picture will always be clear and sharp. The parallax is also adjustable to keep you accurate at any range and angle. Overall, it’s a great and durable tool for any shooter type out there.

Configuration Options

As appropriate for such high tier long range scope, the turrets are covered for protection and to prevent any undesired dialing. The parallax in this scope is adjustable with the side turret.

The scope is available with either the with either the BDC 600 reticle which has the Bullet drop compensation system integrated in the cross-hairs or the slightly more advanced AHMR1 with both elevation and windage subtensions, which are matched at 15x magnification. Both are set at SFP.

The adjustment graduation is ¼ MOA per click and the maximum adjustment is 50 MOA for both elevation and windage.

Advanced Features

Argos scopes all have high quality and extremely resistant single-piece tubes hammer forged out of aircraft grade aluminum. They are finished with a matte, anti-glare finish for protection from scratches and the elements.

The large lenses will always provide enough brightness, while several layers of advanced coating will enable even more light to pass through and prevent and light reflection at the same time. The lenses are also coated with the protective XPL coating on the other sides to protect from stains and scratches. The scopes are both water and fog proof, as well as highly resilient against recoil and shock, making them perfect for use with any gun caliber. The interior is Argon purged to prevent any internal fogging.

Mounting of The Scope

Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Argos 4-20x50 has a tube diameter of 25.4 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
