Athlon Argos 3-15x40 SFP

A scope made for the field, which reflects in the awesome features, incredible resistance and durability as well as a crisp and clear image. Designed for the hunt, it has the ideal magnification range for shooting at most distances, while the SFP reticle will help out a bit when the shot gets tricky at a longer range and greater magnification.

It’s made out of a single piece and the lenses are coated with the special XPL coating which makes this scope resilient, bright and clear. The target can be just behind that tree or on a ridge on the other side of the valley, but do not worry, this is the tool that has you covered.

Configuration Options

As appropriate for such high tier long range scope, the turrets are covered for protection and to prevent any undesired dialing. The parallax in this scope is fixed.

The scope is available with either the with either the simple Center-X crosshairs reticle or the BDC 600 reticle which has the Bullet drop compensation system integrated in the cross-hairs. The BDC system is valid at 15x magnification.

The adjustment graduation is ¼ MOA per click and the maximum adjustment is 60 MOA for both elevation and windage.

Advanced Features

Argos scopes all have high quality and extremely resistant single-piece tubes hammer forged out of aircraft grade aluminum. They are finished with a matte, anti-glare finish for protection from scratches and the elements.

The large lenses will always provide enough brightness, while several layers of advanced coating will enable even more light to pass through and prevent and light reflection at the same time. The lenses are also coated with the protective XPL coating on the other sides to protect from stains and scratches. The scopes are both water and fog proof, as well as highly resilient against recoil and shock, making them perfect for use with any gun caliber. The interior is Argon purged to prevent any internal fogging.

Mounting Of The Scope

Like any scope out there, mounting is made with any type of mounting rings or single piece mount. A wide range of such products is available on the market and on our web page as well. The Argos 3-15x42 has a tube diameter of 25.4 mm, so the mounting rings need to be of the same size as the scope tube.
