10x32 binoculars like these Vixen Atrek HRs are a popular choice for taking on a wildlife holiday like a safari and are often used by hikers, nature lovers, wildlife photographers or hunters who carry additional equipment and need a good performance from a binocular that is also easy to carry and pack away.
With its relatively small 3.2mm exit pupil, these 10x32 binoculars are not recommended for use in very low light situations. Rather they are best suited in wide open areas like the open plains, Africa’s savanna, at the coast or up in the hills where there is generally a good amount of available light and reasonably long observational distances. In these situations, the powerful 10x magnification is perfect as it will deliver more image detail than lower powered options.
