Sharing a very similar body design as Bresser’s top of the range 10x25 Montana compact binoculars, these are a great alternative for casual observers looking for a low-cost, easy to carry and take anywhere instrument.
The Topas is available in a wide range of colors and the two hinges enable you to fold down the binocular into an extremely small shape that should fit into most pockets.
The optics on the Topas are fully coated and they use Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms made from BK-7 glass.
These binoculars have a metal housing for toughness, which at this low cost is impressive. The partial rubber armor is there for improved grip and added protection to the device, whilst the small centrally located focus wheel is easy to reach. The binoculars have foldable rubber eyecups and a right eye diopter.
Another point to note should you often like to observe things like butterflies from very close range is that these have a relatively long minimum focusing distance of 5 meters and so may not be the ideal option for this kind of use.
