The Vortex Viper PST Gen. 2 5-25x50 FFP are true tactical rifle scopes designed for precision long-range shooting. With the big maximum magnification of 25x, engaging targets at extreme distances is easily possible. The reticle in the first focal plane helps the user to make elevation and windage corrections, calculate the distance to the target and also spot for other shooters and call them the corrections they need. The reticle changes the size when you change the magnifications, so the lines have always the same distance on the target. You can order the scope in MRAD or in MOA, and the reticle will always be matched with the turrets.
With the big 50-millimeter objective lens diameter enough light passes through for low light hunting, and the reticle is illuminated so it is visible also at low magnifications. The illumination has 10 intensity settings, with off positions between each setting. All 10 settings are for low light use.
In the Viper PST Gen. 2 5-25x50 FFP only the best XD™ Lens Elements are used, which dramatically increases the resolution and color fidelity, and that's why the images are more sharp and crisp. All lenses inside the Viper PST Gen. 2 rifle scopes are also XR™ fully multi-coated for more light-transmission and even better contrast. The outer lenses have also an additional coating named ArmorTek, which makes the surface more scratch-resistant and protects the lenses from scratches, oil, and dirt.
The turrets are exposed tactical, so the user can change the elevation and windage quickly without taking off the caps. The elevation turret has now also a true zero-stop function, which can be adjusted under the turret, and now no more CRS (customizable rotational stop) shims are needed. On the left side of the rifle scope is the illumination control and the parallax control. The parallax is adjustable from 20 yards / 18 meters to infinity.
The main tube is made from a single-piece aluminum for more strength and reliability, and the mounting diameter is 30 millimeters so many mounting solutions are available for any weapon platform. The outer surface is hard-anodized for a more scratch-resistant finish. The internal of the tube is argon filled so these rifle scopes can be used also in a very cold environment and will not fog internally.
Vortex Viper PST Gen. 2 5-25x50 FFP rifle scopes are made in the Philippines and are covered with the great Vortex VIP Warranty, which means that if anything goes wrong, the company will cover your scope. Your scope will be either repaired or replaced if it becomes defective, without any costs for you.
The Vortex Viper PST Gen. 2 5-25x50 FFP rifle scope can only be mounted with 30 mm rings or monoblock mounts.
