Docter Classic rifle scopes cover all possible hunting needs with different models and 2.5-10x48 is meant to fill the need of those hunting in the mountains or use the scope also for longer shots. With its 10x magnification it offers great accuracy on longer ranges, however due to the 48mm objective lens its mass and size is still easily manageable compared to Docter Classic 3-12x56. If you are carrying a rifle for hours while stalking its compact size can be a great benefit. Nevertheless with its great optics and Docter Multitop multi-layer coting on all lenses it will also deliver great low light hunting experience. Light transmission rate of this scope in higher than 92% in the most visible light spectrum and combined with FFP (Front Focal Plane) reticles designed for low light use (reticle 1 and 4) this scope can be a great tool for hunting at dusk or dawn. With optical properties explained above this scope offers almost unparalleled price to value ratio. With DBA reticle this is also one of the few hunting rifle scopes that offer usable hold-over points in the reticle for long range shooting, since reticle sub-tensions doesn’t change with magnification change (FFP - design).
Docter Classic 2.5-10x48 mounts on a rifle with a wide range of 30 mm mounting rings. This scopes are also available with LM rail - traditional prismatic rail for mounting - Docter Classic 2.5-10x48 (LM rail).
