Vortex Solo Tactical R/T 8x36

The most advanced of all the Vortex Solo monoculars, this 36mm Solo R/T Tactical model is specifically designed for users like hunters who want to be able to determine the range of their target.

Featuring the MRAD-based ranging reticle with Vortex’s silhouette system you can easily establish distances to your target without the need of making calculations.

Another addition is the reticle focus ring that ensures you are able to achieve a sharp reticle image no matter the ranging distance.

Designed for close and mid-range targeting, the moderate 8x magnification may not give you the same detail as higher power monoculars at long distances, but the advantages include a steadier image, a brighter view and better low light performance.

But most importantly you get a much wider field of view and at 131m wide over a distance of 1000m, the field of view on this monocular is impressive and makes locating and following your target, especially closer ranges far easier.

Unlike all other monoculars in this series, the Solo Tactical R/T uses a folding rubber eyecup with the same side shied design as which is used on the more expensive Vortex Recce and Vortex Recon monoculars.

As well as being very comfortable the shield cuts out any distractions and light from entering from the side that can reduce image quality by reflecting back off the ocular lens.

As well as this, the Tactical R/T has a long 18mm of eye-relief and as such makes them suitable for use with protective eyewear or glasses.
