Small but powerful, these 10x25 Steiner Safari UltraSharp binoculars are an ideal choice for the adventurous wildlife lover wanting to get closer to the action, but at the same time needs a tough, reliable instrument that is easy to pack and carry everywhere you go.

The traditional and iconic Porro prism shape of these binoculars not only makes them very natural and comfortable to hold onto but the wider set objective lenses produce an improved stereoscopic image than that which you get on most equivalent roof prism alternatives.

Another excellent feature on these binoculars is the Sports-Auto-Focus system. What this enables you to do is set each eyepiece to match your particular vision and then from that moment, no further focusing is necessary. Everything from about 20 meters right to infinity will be in sharp and clear focus. This makes the binocular much easier to use and quicker to lock onto your subject because at one moment you can be looking at a bird in a nearby tree and the very next enjoying the spectacle of a herd of elephants in the distance.

As a special Adventure edition, these binoculars also come with a set of adhesive overlays that allow you to customize the instrument to suit your particular taste. You can choose to keep the classic look or add a little camouflage with the black & white stripes of a zebra or the distinctive wild leopard pattern.

Perfectly adequate for use during the day in average to good light conditions, but just keep in mind that the 2.5mm exit pupil that combination of the 10x power and 25 mm lenses on these binoculars produce is relatively small. This means that as it gets darker and the pupils of your eyes grow larger, these binoculars will not seem to produce as bright an image as those with a larger exit pupil. If you often use your binoculars in low light situations, you may wish to consider the larger 10x30 or 10x42 versions instead.
