Noblex QUICKsight 5.0 VR

Introduction

The Docter company was on the market since 1991, but only as a brand, since it was previously called Carl Zeiss Jena which, by the late 1980s, was the largest manufacturer of binoculars in the world. In 2017, Noblex bought Docter which has a rich, 100-year history of producing optical devices. In 2018, they changed the name Docter to Noblex.

In the past, Docter was the biggest manufacturer and a pioneer in producing red dots. Lately, a new trend of using red dots on shotguns and not just on centerfire rifles emerged. Other manufacturers also saw this as an opportunity to develop their own red dots. Because of this new trend, Docter (now Noblex) developed QUICKsight.

Main advantages

• QUICKsight has the lowest sight of aim. A very important feature of QUICKsight is that it has the smallest distance between a shotgun rib and a red dot sight window.

• It is very light and small. The housing is very robust and made out of a single piece of steel.

• QUICKsight is unnoticeable when mounted on a shotgun. It fits beautifully on shotgun’s mounting surface.

• There is only one intensity level and it is designed to be used at bright light.

• It comes with a protective rubber cap. It's fully waterproof and turns off automatically when you put the cap on.

• It has a custom gun mount so it can be mounted on any ventilated shotgun rib.

• It's easy to use and the mounting is also very simple.

• It is produced in Germany.

One thing you have to be careful about is that QUICKsight, once mounted, is in line with the barrel of the gun. This means that zeroing is not needed.

Mounting instructions

• Firstly, you have to remove the bottom plate of the dot. Afterward, you slide a plate into the opening of a barrel rib.

• Next, you have to push the plate to the right side and align it with the barrel rib. Then, you put the dot on the small pins that are on the left side. Now you have to tighten the left TORX screw and afterward you tighten the right screw.

• It is perfectly normal that there is some space between the housing of the dot and the mounting plate on the left side.

The product has a warranty period of 5 years.
