Introduction

Kahles company was founded in 1898 and it is the oldest scope manufacturer that still offers their products. This pioneer company from Austria offers high-class riflescopes and binoculars that can satisfy every demanding hunter and shooter. All the products are made in Austria and undergoes the quality control to ensure consistent high quality levels. All riflescopes are made from solid aluminum that makes them incredibly durable.

About the Kahles Helia riflescopes

In 1926 Kahles introduced their famous Helia series with extended field of view. There are three different hunting riflescopes series in Helia product line: Kahles Helia, Kahles Helia 3 and Kahles Helia 5. The new version of Helia is a simplified version of Helia 5 and it no longer has a number next to the name.

Helia line combines important features for every hunter in one scope, for an affordable price. It has a high quality glass, big field of view and reliable mechanics. The only difference between new Helia and old Helia 5 series in their illumination system. The new Helia's illumination system is different as that in Helias's 5. That is the reason why the new Helia is around 20% cheaper.

About the model (2-10x50i)

Kahles Helia 2-10x50i is a all round riflescope with wide field of view suitable for hunters. It provides excellent performance during dawn and dusk.

• Kahles Helia is a riflescope with traditional design and sharp edges on it's housing.

• This is a second focal plane riflescope. This means that the reticle is located behind the magnification lenses, or closer to your eyeball. Because of that the reticle appears the same size at any magnification.

• It has hunting low profile capped turrets which are perfect if you hunt in similar conditions all the time.

• The clicks are in miliradians (1cm/100m).

• The oilphobis coated lenses are better protected against grease, oil and water. Helia is fully multi-coated and purged with nitrogen.

• Riflescope is waterproof, fog-proof and shockproof for even the most powerful calibers.

• It is set to be parallax error free at 100 m.

• The reticle is illuminated. Illumination is usable only in low light conditions when non-illuminated reticle would be hard to see. The dot brightness is changing continuously. It also has an automatic switch off to save battery.

• It has very precise illumination adjustment.

The main tube diameter is 30mm and it has no mounting rail under it. This means that for the mounting on the rifle you need the right mounting rings to fit the tube's diameter.
