Docter Unipoint 1.5-6x42 rifle scope is meant exactly for that kind of hunting and with its unique Unipoint illumnated reticle even enhances this possibilities. The reticle is designed in a way that it has front focal plane FFP bars and second focal plane SFP illuminated. Scope set at power 1.5x has with this reticle very thin bars that don’t distract his wide field of view and bigger day-time bright illuminated dot for rapid target acquisition. This is perfect for driven hunt situations. When the Docter Unipoint 1.5-6x42 is set to the highest magnification setting the reticle has thick bars and very fine illuminated dot that doesn’t cover much of the target. This enables shooter to place an accurate shot even at longer distances and to have a visible reticle also at dusk or dawn when there only a small amount of light.

Docter Unipoint illuminations system is the key feature that makes this Unipoint 1.5-6x42 really stand out compared to other similar scopes. Unipoint illumination system is controlled by Tipcontrol button and the system functionality is shown on this VIDEO. The intensity of the illuminated dot is regulated steplessly and it grows like it is shown on the graph bellow. The system also has automatic turn-off and memory function (last used intensity is used on the next turn on).
