Docter Basic 1-4x24 offers exceptional level of build quality and high mechanical robustness and is thus a great choice for mounting on powerful magnum calibers like .375 H&H or European classic for wild boar driven hunts - 9.3x62. The other very useful feature of this scope is the true 1x magnification which enables shooter to use both eye opened when aiming. This means that at 1x the shooter has the full natural field of view (of both eyes) and not only the field of view decelerated in the scopes specifications. Combined together with the day-bright illuminated dot in the reticule this scope can be used as a real "red dot" sight when set to magnification 1x. Target acquisition can be fast and aiming secure even in the most hectic situations.

Illuminated dot is situated in the second focal plane - SFP and the reticule bars are located in first focal plane - FFP.
