Vixen VIII series offer rifle scopes with 6x magnification ratio. The minimum is 1x and the maximum zoom is 30x. The reticles are in the second focal plane (reticle size doesn't change with magnification) and there are many different reticle styles available – the 0+, duplex with an illuminated dot (IL-DP), Mil-Dot with an illuminated reticle in the middle (MD RC), ITR-6, German 4 (IL-G4), Mil-Dot with an illuminated dot (IL-MD), ELD 20 and MLR 20. There are models with fixed parallax on 100 yards or 91 meters and models with adjustable parallax.
Vixen VIII series have fine adjustable turrets and they are capped, except on the Vixen VIII Artes rifle scope, turrets are exposed tactical for quick elevation or windage adjustment. The main tube is either 30 mm or 34 mm, which depends on the model. The housing is built of high-quality aluminum alloy for long lasting in extreme conditions and larger caliber rifles.
Vixen VIII rifle scopes are tightly sealed and filled with nitrogen, so they are protected against water, dust and internal fog at low temperatures. They have fully multi-coated lenses for the maximum image quality and brightness in the Vixen series rifle scopes. The turrets are zero re-settable and have a zero-stop feature.
The Vixen VIII rifle scopes can be mounted with 30 mm or 34 mm rings.
