The Celestron Outland X 8x25 is low cost compact binocular that is ideal for users who want or require a device that makes it easy to pack away in their luggage, pop in a daypack, or keep in the glove compartment of their car and take along to almost any adventure. It is also small and lightweight enough to be carried in the field with minimal fuss and thus is this also perfect for those who also carry other equipment like a camera, rifle, bow or guidebook.
Whilst they will not compete with the 8x42 Outland X in terms of their low light capabilities, the 8x25 configuration on this model produces a 3.1mm exit pupil, which is relatively generous for a compact and thus these are more suitable when the light is bad (like at sunset on in dense forests) than the 10x25 version for example.
Another benefit of the moderate 8x magnification is that it enables a wider field of view, which also has a number of advantages but especially makes it easier to locate objects and follow them if they are moving fast.

Celestron gives Limited Lifetime Warranty for Outland X Binoculars. The company repairs or replaces damaged products, without charge. However, it doesn’t include No Fault Policy – doesn’t cover damages due to mishandling, misuse, neglect or accidental damage. Product exteriors - armoring and lenses are fully covered for 5 years against defects, not scratches or blemishes. Accessories such as lens covers, neckstraps and cases are fully covered for 2 years. Loss of the product or accessories is not covered. Collimation and optical alignment issues must be claimed within 30 days of purchase. You can claim the warranty with receipt as a proof of purchase.
