EAW Mounts

EAW is a company with great tradition, founded by Ernst Apel Senior in 1919 and is still the oldest working manufacturer of mounts in the world. The main occupation at first was manufacturing and distribution of dentistry and the other were repairing of electric motors, electroplating and bicycle trade. After the WWII the company took a turn into manufacturing scope mounts and renamed its name from ERNST APEL to EAW (Ernst Apel Würzburg).

EAW is committed to innovations and offers pivot mounts, slide-on/roll-off mounts, claw mounts and adapters for Docter-sight. One of the best mounts they introduced in the late 1960s are still one of the best and the most widespread to this day. The company developed the ring with a three-quarter division.
